At 22 years old, he and the Cavs were in a deadlocked series against the top-seeded Pistons, a hard-nosed squad that included four starters from an earlier Detroit title-winner. Down the stretch, LeBron took over. He scored 25 straight points in a row, 29 of his team's final 30, and an acrobatic game-winning layup to ice the double-overtime victory in a masterpiece performance. The Cavs pulled off a stunning upset and advanced to the Finals, but it was LeBron's Game 5 earthquake that shifted the established terrain of basketball. We were all witnesses.

On the heel, a skull graphic is another nod to the 313, honouring the city's car industry history with the graphic creating two crossbone-like pistons. A repeat smoke graphic on the upper transforms into a lion, creating a lasting connection between LeBron and the city of Detroit.
