Behind the Design
Look for the dragon graphic on the insole and a gold dubrae on the laces, shaped in two circles to represent Ja’s signature goggles celebration gesture. The graphic and gold Swoosh design are inspired by the Golden Dragon, which represents strength, wealth and harvest. The red Swoosh logo outline symbolizes good luck. The white upper represents the clouds Ja flies through en route to the rim, while the icy blue outsole nods to water. Both colors are homages to the tattoos on Ja’s arms.
Personal Touch
The handwritten repeating 12 a.m. graphic speaks to his mindset to approach every day with a grind mentality. Ja’s signature, logo and jersey number are also sketched in his own handwriting.
